An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Programme Manager to join our Pacific team in the International Partnerships department, You can contribute your skills to make a life-changing difference for children, leading the Negotiated Partnership programme for the largest NGO in the sector.

 

In this role you will:

  • be responsible for the management of the Negotiated Partnership - a multi-year, multi-country programme funded by the NZ government. The programme supports work across Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste and Laos, focusing on reducing violence, enabling livelihoods and improving nutrition. You will oversee the programme quality and reporting requirements of this programme.
  • provide dedicated support to all projects in Papua New Guinea, including the acquisition of new grants such as New Zealand Disaster Response Partnership (NZDRP) opportunities.

 

You will bring to this role your strong background in monitoring and evaluation, project management, and excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

 

 To be successful in this role, here's what you need:


  • Experience managing a country or regional portfolio including the acquisition and management of complex grants within the international development sector
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders
  • Proven strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of programme quality (preferred)
