Job Description

We are looking for a Donor Propositions Manager to join the Philanthropy team to support Account Managers in their Fundraising with some of WVNZ closest donors.

The Philanthropy Department is comprised of three teams: Mid-Tier, Major Donors and Gift in Wills. The department has a bold ambition to grow, in becoming the charity of choice for Kiwis when considering philanthropic gifts for International Crises. This position is integral part of the team’s advancement and success.


You will develop funding and support propositions, impact reports, and donor updates by being immersed in World Vision Programming and working closely with the International Programmes Team. As an experienced Fundraiser with strong communication skills both verbal and written, you will be in a position to really carve out the new role and make it your own. You will manage a portfolio of donor communications, develop templates and streamline processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Account Managers and external teams to develop and package attractive propositions that meet the needs of our donors
  • Lead on developing Donor Journeys for various donor portfolios across the three Philanthropy Department Teams.
  • Gain and share updates from the field with the Philanthropy Account Managers
  • Project Manage the process for Reporting on successfully funded propositions

 

Qualifications / Experience

  • 4-6 years Fundraising experience preferable in High Value or with a focus on proposition and proposal development and impact reporting
  • Ability to translate technical information into digestible donor facing proposals with clear purpose
  • Ability to produce compelling donor communications that reflect our Philanthropist supporter goals
  • Expertise in emotive writing
  • Expertise in editing and proof reading
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with and coordinate across teams and external suppliers
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to organise and work independently
