Schools Partnership Manager – Lower North Island

An exciting opportunity exists for a Schools Partnership Manager to join our team.

Job description:

The purpose of this position is to develop and sustain effective ongoing relationships with schools and church youth groups alongside their wider communities across the Lower North Island. You will be inspiring them to raise funds for World Vision New Zealand’s work; to develop an understanding and ongoing commitment to justice issues among the youth of New Zealand and to make a substantive contribution to the wider work of World Vision.



In the role you will:

  • Inspire students and youth to consider the injustices in the world around them and how they can change it through classroom talks, education resources, school assemblies and World Vision events.
  • Encourage schools and churches to sign up for the World Vision 40 Hour Famine through building strong and authentic relationships.
  • Support students, teachers, and youth group leaders in fundraising for the World Vision 40 Hour Famine through your leadership and encouragement of the Youth Ambassadors.

 

 

To be successful in this role, here's what you need:

  • An understanding of the education and NZ school sector
  • Experience of working effectively with young people
  • An understanding of and passion for contemporary justice issues
  • Fundraising, account management or sales experience.
  • Full NZ Driver’s License
