Chosen Coordinator - Casual

World Vision is a Christian organisation that empowers everyday Kiwis to stand up and make a difference for children in the world’s toughest places through emergency relief, community development and advocacy work.

We believe in a world where every child, no matter where they were born, can live life in all its fullness. It’s as simple as that.

You’ll be joining New Zealand’s largest overseas humanitarian organisation, made up of 80 staff and a big volunteer base. You’ll also become part of something bigger, World Vision’s global partnership of 35,000 staff and 3.3 million supporters in 100 countries. So far, we’ve impacted the lives of more than 200 million vulnerable children by tackling the root causes of poverty. This is your chance to make a massive impact, right when it’s needed the most.

We have several casual Chosen Coordinator positions available, in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

The purpose of this position is to execute the Chosen campaign within churches across New Zealand.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Sunday event management in churches twice a month.
  • Support the execution of the campaign.
  • Enhance the relationship of World Vision with the churches.

Responsibilities are outlined on the job description; but here's what you'll need to have:

  • Background in event management.
  • Experience and knowledge of church and Christianity.
  • Strong people skills.

This role is a casual position and will includes work on Sunday’s as well as some domestic travel.

This is a fantastic opportunity to help make a difference in vulnerable children's lives around the world. World Vision is committed to developing its people at all levels and to being an employer of choice within the charity sector and the international community for vulnerable children.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
