Ko Wai Mātou | About Us

World Vision is a Christian organisation that empowers everyday Kiwis to stand up and make a difference for children in the world’s toughest places through emergency relief, community development and advocacy work.

Every day, you’ll help the world’s most vulnerable children, families and communities build safer and brighter futures. Every night, you’ll go home knowing you made a difference in someone’s life.

We work from a Christian kaupapa seeing our work as a practical expression of the gospel, valuing, and supporting the wairua (spiritual wellbeing) of our people and partners.

You’ll be joining New Zealand’s largest international humanitarian organisation, made up of 100 staff and a large volunteer base. You’ll also become part of something bigger, World Vision’s global partnership of 35,000 staff and 3.3 million supporters in 100 countries. So far, together with our incredible supporters we’ve impacted the lives of more than 200 million vulnerable children by tackling the root causes of poverty.

We believe in a world where every child, no matter where they were born, can live life in all its fullness. It’s as simple as that – we’d love you to come join us – this is your time to make a significant impact, right when it’s needed the most.

We offer you

  • A supportive, positive work environment where you’ll feel highly valued, motivated and challenged to bring your best work every day.
  • Flexibility to work from home for part of the week.
  • Free parking at the office.
  • A day off on your birthday – we believe you are worth celebrating!
