What you need to know
World Vision is a Christian organisation that empowers everyday Kiwis to stand up and make a difference for children in the world’s toughest places through emergency relief, community development and advocacy work.
We work from a Christian kaupapa. We see our work as a practical expression of the gospel, and we value and support the wairua (spiritual wellbeing) of our people and partners.
You’ll be joining New Zealand’s largest overseas humanitarian organisation, made up of 80 staff and a big volunteer base, and New Zealand’s largest youth fundraising movement: the World Vision 40 Hour Famine. Since 1975, we’ve connected more than 3 million young Kiwis to the biggest global issues of their time and helped them discover their own power to drive social change.
Through the World Vision 40 Hour Famine, Kiwis have raised more than $80 million to help children in more than 40 countries. And we’re not slowing down! This is your chance to empower the next generation of change-makers, who the world needs now more than ever.
