We are looking for a new Church Relationship Manager based in Wellington to connect and engage with faith communities across the Lower North Island. Working within a well-resourced team, they will be responsible for the identification, engagement and management of relationships with new and existing church and faith-based organisations.
Frequent domestic and some international travel required. Some weekend and evening work to accommodate supporter schedules.
The successful candidate
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of building and sustaining great relationships. They will have a deep and personal understanding of the Christian faith including church life and an ability to network with church leaders and communities. Commercial experience in account management or sales would be an advantage.
We are looking for a person with excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to nurture a passion for the mission of World Vision with the NZ Christian community. Tenacity and a drive for results are crucial as is the ability to use creative approaches to engaging potential and existing donors.
A commitment to the mission, core values and culture of World Vision NZ is essential.
