This role is all about data. Your primary focus is to build quality datasets and deliver them to stakeholders based on their requirements. You will be able to work with these stakeholders and help them to develop their requirements and understand what data is available to them.

Along with this, we are seeking someone to complement our existing database expertise. Someone that knows and understands data warehouses, and ETL development and administration. A key person that also knows how to administer existing databases and keep them healthy and running well.

Power BI knowledge and skills are a plus. But don’t worry if you do not have them yet. So long as you know how to work with data well that is the key here.

Responsibilities are outlined on the job description; here's what you'll need to have:

  • 3 years’ experience in data or database management
  • Proven experience with adoption of Data frameworks and methodologies
  •  Excellent problem solver that uses simple logic to bring effective solutions to complex problems
  •  Has built credible customer relationships both in immediate team and across multiple customer groups.
  • A relevant Tertiary or Commercial qualification (or equivalent) is preferred
  •  SQL queries
  • Power BI development and configuration knowledge preferred
  •  Advanced MS Excel and MS Word
  • Basic HTML (desirable)
  • Advanced interpersonal, relationship building and stakeholder management skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) and able to clearly translate requirements to outputs
  • Open and collaborative interpersonal style
  • Navigates successfully through ambiguity
