An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Social Media Producer to join our team for the 2021 World Vision 40 Hour Famine campaign.
Joining our External Affairs team, you will be responsible for implementing the World Vision 40 Hour Famine’s social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok. From concepting, producing and editing content to keeping up with social media trends and regularly providing reporting updates, this role will see you lead and manage the World Vision 40 Hour Famine’s social media channels.
You will be a creative and compelling story-teller, able to inspire our passionate youth audience to take part in the World Vision 40 Hour Famine, creating a space for them to engage with us with your strategic use of inspiring and innovative content. You will be as confident and capable interviewing NZ youth as you are liaising with schools, churches and community groups to gather content, while you will also utilise campaign messaging to help drive campaign objectives.
This position will see you play a key role in the World Vision 40 Hour Famine campaign team.
This is a fixed-term, part-time position of 20 hours per week for 16 weeks, ideally commencing towards the end of March. There is the potential for this role to be extended.
Some evening and/or weekend work may be required in the weeks leading up to and during the World Vision 40 Hour Famine (25-27 June).
