World Vision is a global Christian humanitarian organisation dedicated to supporting children, families, and their communities to reach their full potential. We do this by working to address the root causes of poverty and injustice for world’s most vulnerable children through long-term development, humanitarian relief, and advocacy.
Reporting to the International Partnerships Director, the Head of Fragile & Developing Contexts is a critical leadership position in the organisation. The role will provide oversight to World Vision New Zealand’s international programming funded by child sponsorship, private donations, World Food Programme, multi-laterals, and other grant funding.
The role will also provide leadership and management to the Fragile and Developing Contexts team, and lead our humanitarian emergency response. As part of the International Partnerships Leadership Team, the role will also contribute to the wider work of World Vision, including partnering with the Marketing & Engagement team, external engagement in the NZ sector and the World Vision Partnership.
